Set between the hills and the Caribbean Sea, Happy Bay Resort & Residences is conceived as a new luxury destination connected to the exceptional landscape of one of Saint Martin’s most secluded bays. The masterplan integrates a boutique hotel, branded residences and resort amenities within a tropical landscape, carefully positioning buildings and outdoor spaces to maximise views, privacy and connection with the sea.

Slowlife Architects proposes a contemporary interpretation of Caribbean and Creole architecture, combining pitched roofs and gardened roofs, shaded verandas, timber screens and generous indoor-outdoor spaces with a refined and understated architectural language. From the palm-lined arrival sequence to the heart of the resort and the beach, architecture and landscape work together to create a distinctive sense of place rooted in the climate, landscape and identity of Happy Bay
